Effect 2

As stated earlier, this is my personal favorite. I like not having to set-up the prediction days or weeks prior to the performance. I guess I'm just lazy. In addition it eliminates having to trust the spectator for weeks or days with the chests. Believe me, I've had excellent audience reaction, notwithstanding the fact the prediction was made just prior to showtime. At any rate, read it over and give it a try to judge for yourself.

The procedure for placing the dummy prediction (taped or written) in the nested chests and then later, expelling the genuine one into the small chest during your performance has been well documented in effect #1. Therefore, I will only explain the differences in performing this version to eliminate unnecessary repetition.

To do this successfully you need to build a clear path of action by using tools if necessary. These tools would be facts, evidence and stories which you know they can relate to. Plus you always want to have their best interests at heart, in other words, you know what is good for them
