Book Test Steve Dusheck

Although mirror writing is difficult for most people to read, it's actually quite simple to read as a single, printed word. This fact suggests an impressive, practically impromptu book test. Any book is selected and any page is called out. Handing the spectator holding the book a blank card and marker, the spectator is asked to turn to that page and to write the first word on that page, on the blank card while your back is turned. The card is then inserted by the performer, word side down, into the "Get the Picture" envelope and you're all set to divine the word. (Note: it's very important that the card be thick enough so the word doesn't bleed through).
