The problem with many magic plots is that there is 3uch a large gap between what the effect is supposed to be in theory and what it ends up being in practice. Since we can't really do magic» there will always be a gap. But, when the gap becomes too great, the effect just isn't worth doing.
I've always felt that the Follow the Leader plot fell into this category. The Color of Money goes further toward closing the gap than any other version I know of. It*s a major feature item in my performances and one of the strongest tricks in this book.
