Odds and Ends

It's fall housecleaning time here at the reviewer's desk. I've got fifteen items to discuss this month, so you'll notice that the reviews are a bit shorter. I'm also starting a new, semi-regular feature called "From the Horse's Mouth." You'll find it near the end of the column.

I hope you had a good summer. In a few hours I'm off to Colon, Michigan to perform at this year's Abbott's Get-Together. Speaking of conventions, on behalf of Aldo Colombini, Fukai, Joe Givan, Paul Green, and Lupe, I'd like to thank Carey Lauder for his glowing review of the IBM close-up shows (see last month's MAGIC). It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Fundamentals of Magick

Magick is the art and practice of moving natural energies to effect needed or wanted change. Magick is natural, there is absolutely nothing supernatural about it. What is taught on this site is not only the basics of magick, but the basics of many things.
