Long skinny balloons are usually identified by a three-digit number (for example: 260). The first digit indicates the diameter (in inches) of a fully inflated balloon. The following two digits refer to the length (also in inches) of the fully inflated balloon. So, our 260 balloon example will inflate up to 2 inches wide and 60 inches long. Sometimes, however, you can end up with a large variation of sizes when you use the same type of balloon. Even within the same package you'll find that different colors inflate to different sizes.
